Every AI action in Heho draws on your workspace's AI credits. Writing, editing and moving sections use none. Each AI action has its own cost, and the Billing page shows what is left, what each action used and when the allowance refreshes.
Where to see your balance
- In a song, the chip at the top left of the studio shows your plan and the credits left. Hover it for the exact count, or press it to open Billing.
- The sidebar shows the count under your workspace's name.
- Billing, under More at the bottom of the sidebar, has the AI credits panel: Credits remaining, Included this cycle, Used and Reset date.
The chip beside the number reads Healthy balance, then Low balance once about a fifth of the allowance is left, then No credits left.

In the mobile app, the word tools on a long-pressed word and Suggest Lines need Pro or Studio.
Premium previews on the free plan
On Free, each use of a premium tool takes one of the month's premium previews and still uses credits, so it needs both. The Premium previews box on Billing shows how many are left and the day they reset.
- Previews are counted per email address, across all your workspaces.
- A preview that fails before the AI starts does not count.
- Free credits and premium previews go to an account whose email address is verified.
- A second workspace on the same email address does not start a new allowance. This month's remaining free credits move to it.
How an action is charged
When you start an action, Heho sets aside enough credits to cover it, and the action only starts if your balance covers that amount. That is why an action can be refused before your balance reaches zero. When it finishes, the set-aside comes back and the credits it actually used are taken, which can be fewer.
If an action fails before the AI starts, its set-aside comes straight back. If one is cut off, for example by closing the page before it was sent, the set-aside comes back about an hour later.
When credits refresh
- Free: on the first day of each month, UTC. The Current Plan panel says "Your plan refreshes on" and the date. Premium previews reset on the same day.
- Pro and Studio: at the end of each subscription period, shown as "Your subscription renews on" and the date.
Each cycle brings a new allowance, and credits left over from the last one do not carry over.
NoteKnown issue: credits used in earlier cycles are still counted against the new allowance. After a reset, Used may not start again at zero, and Credits remaining may start below the full allowance. If that happens, write to support@heho.ai.
Check what each action used
Usage history on Billing lists your latest AI actions with the credits each one used. See all usage history opens the full list. Each row carries a status:

A refused action uses no credits.
