The Heho app signs in to the same account as heho.ai and works on the same songs, so a song you start on your phone is waiting on the web, and the other way round. You can take a song the whole way on the phone: from one line to lyrics, tagged for Suno, copied into Suno and published. A few tools are web only, and the last step lists them.
1. Start from one line
Tap the sparkles icon at the bottom of the app. New Lyrics opens on the idea box. Type what the song is about under What is your song about? and press Create.
The chips under the field are optional: Mood, Genre, and More for the structure and the language. The dice suggests an idea when you have none. Heho drafts the lyrics, tags them for Suno and opens the song on the Sunofy step. If the tagging does not finish, the song opens on its words with a Tag it for Suno button to try again.
There are other ways in:
- If you already have words, switch to Optimize my lyrics, paste the song and press Tag my lyrics.
- More options, under the idea box, opens the full Song Wizard.
- Once you have songs, the Describe your song idea bar at the top of Projects opens the same idea box.
- The + button on Projects starts an empty song.
- In Templates, tap a template, check the Project Title, which starts as the template's name, and press Create Project.
2. Work on the words
Tap Lyrics on the bar at the bottom of the song. Each section is a card, and Get around the Heho app covers the taps and long presses that edit it.
- AI in a section's header opens Sync metrics, Fix meter, Add lines and Rewrite section.
- Co-Write line, between two lines or under the last one, writes new lines for that spot, from a short brief if you give one. You choose how many.
- Rewrite section opens a short form first. With Preview before apply on, which it is to start with, the Lyrics Assistant opens on the new version before anything changes. The rewrite asks for two versions, Option A and Option B: approve the one you want, or press Reject to keep your words.
- Lyrics Assistant, at the top right, opens a chat about the song. Its changes come back as cards you apply, retry, dismiss or undo.
- Smart, at the top, shows the song as one block of text with the Smart Lyrics panel under it: Find Rhymes for a word, and Suggest Lines for the line your cursor is on.
- Hold a word in a line for Synonyms, Rhymes and Translate.
- Tuning, in the Project panel behind the sliders icon, sets the lyrics language, the theme, words to include or avoid, and the style the AI writes in.
NoteIn the app, Suggest Lines and the word lookups need a Pro or Studio plan. On the free plan, Rewrite section, Fix meter, Co-write with AI, the Release Kit and every AI action on Sunofy, the idea box's tagging included, each use one of the month's premium previews. Adding or removing a tag yourself uses none.
3. Tag it for Suno
Tap Sunofy on the bar at the bottom. Tap Song Tags Header to open the tags for the whole song, in five rows: Genre, Feeling, Vocal, Production and Avoid. + add on a row adds a tag, and the cross on a tag removes it. The tag icon beside the header asks the AI to suggest tags for these rows.
Each section has its own row of tags under its header. + add opens Add Tags, and an empty row suggests a few tags that suit that kind of section. AI in the section's header offers Optimize tags, Fix contradictions, Suggest ad-libs and Simplify tags.
Suno Assistant, at the top right, opens a chat about the song's sound. Its suggestions come back in groups, with Apply all for a group that holds more than one (Insert all for ad-libs) and Apply, Dismiss, Retry and Undo on each one.
4. Copy it into Suno
Tap Publish, then Share at the top right, and choose what to copy:
| Choice | What it copies |
|---|---|
| Copy Suno style | The song's tags as one style line, each avoid tag written as "no" and the tag |
| Copy tagged lyrics | The words, with each section's type and tags in square brackets above it |
| Copy lyrics | The words, with each section's type and tags in square brackets above it and breaks kept as blank lines |
| Share lyrics | The same text as Copy lyrics, sent to another app |
Paste the style and the tagged lyrics into the matching fields in Suno. The same choices sit under Export in the Project panel.
5. Publish it
Publish has two tools at the top: Synced Lyrics and Release Kit.
Synced Lyrics lines your words up with the finished song. Tap Choose MP3, pick the file and tap Generate synced lyrics. When it is done, press play and the words fill the screen as the song sings them. The expand icon beside Share SRT opens the same view without playing, and Share SRT sends the caption file where you need it. Synced lyrics need a Pro or Studio plan, in the app and on the web.
Release Kit writes the copy for putting the song out. Choose a tone, an audience and what to focus on, then tap Generate Release Kit. The kit has tabs for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Distro. Under Distro, Generate Video Plan lays out a music video one scene at a time.
6. Know what needs the web
Open the same song on heho.ai when you want one of these. The app does not have them:
- Check before Suno, which runs the lyrics check on the tagged lyrics and style before you paste them
- undo and redo for your own edits (in the app, an AI change can still be undone from its card)
- section addresses, links that open a song on one section
- Clone song, which lays out a song's sections from its audio file and its lyrics, on Pro and Studio
- importing lyrics from a file, starting a new song from a song search, and browsing an artist's songs
- Suggest Lines and the word lookups on the free plan
See which tools work on the web and in the app has the full list.
